不少同學經常忽略英文校本評核課業 (School-based Assessment，簡稱SBA）的重要性，有同學甚至亂做一通，草草了事。SBA通常佔整份英文科試卷分數的10-15%。在2020年，隨著教育局宣布取消DSE中英文口試，英文科SBA的佔分比重甚至由原來的15%增加至25%，大大影響不少同學的分數。在課堂上，Miss Nicola 會傳授SBA小組討論及個人匯報的搶分位，當中包括開場對白和內容組織，助同學在SBA當中輕鬆取得更高分數。
