高階數列 (Sequence)分為等差數列 (Arithmetic Sequences)及等比數列 (Geometric Sequences),是DSE數學一個很重要的數學概念,普遍每年亦會有一題長題目(LQ題)是關於這概念,因此亦是同學必須要熟練的課題。在課堂中,Albert Sir會先介紹兩種不同的數列——等差數列 (Arithmetic Sequences)和等比數列 (Geometric Sequences),再淺至深地講解如何計算相關的題目。接著便介紹等差數列求和法 (Summation of Arithmetic Sequences)及等比數列求和法 (Summation of Geometric Sequences),並教授如如利用以上方法去計算一些高階題目。並附有DSE數學初階至高階題目練習。以下為處理等差數列 (Arithmetic Sequences)中通項 (General term)的基礎題目示例:
