About this class
One of the best primary Maths tuitions and a forte in Maths, Alvin will guide you through all of the Maths topics including Triangles, Volume, Whole Numbers, Fractions and more with step-by-step guidance on tackling the different components of the P5 Maths paper; short-answer questions (SAQ) or problem sums. This class will run concurrently with the school terms and lesson plans are curated to mirror the MOE curriculum and in line with the Primary 5 Maths syllabus.

According to Stan Gudder, the essence of math is to make complicated things simple. In my lessons, I follow this principle by focusing on answering strategies, common types of questions, and common errors to watch out for!

I've taught Math for 12 years. What I have realised is: practice only makes permanent, but practice with correct guidance makes perfect! 90% of students improved significantly.
Background
I graduated from Raffles Institution's Integrated Programme, and I earned my degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and Arts (Economics) from the National University of Singapore (NUS)
Common questions
How long do I have access to my classes?
Class access is available on a per-term basis. The last date that you may access materials for your class(es) is the last date of your term holiday.
For example, Term 2 episodes will be made available from 21 March till 6 June for Primary & Secondary, while the JC episodes will be made available from 21 March till 15 May. It will also be made available a few weeks before the big semester exams to aid in your revision.
How will I be able to receive my digital notes & exam papers?
Once you purchase a class, you will have access to the weekly digital notes & term exam papers. You will be able to download these notes on the class page found in the Snapask app or website.
If I have any questions, can I consult my tutor?
We don’t offer interactivity with the tutors prior to nor following a Regular Class. You can reach out to our support team at cs-sg@snapask.com or WhatsApp at +65 9617 2249 to assist with any inquiries regarding this offering.
Can I buy just 1 episode instead of buying 1 full term?
Classes can be purchased by episodes or termly rates. We recommend purchasing the termly rates as it is more cost savings and more affordable than other tuition centres. For optimal learning experience, we encourage you to stay with us throughout the term as keeping up with the class will help you to better understand concepts and ace your exams. How many episodes are there in 1 term and how long is each term?
There will be 10 episodes for Primary and Secondary and 13 episodes for JC in 1 term. Each term is about 2.5 to 3 months long.
Will I be able to request a refund after purchasing a class?
All class purchases are non-refundable. To aid in your purchase, the previews will give you a better understanding of the class overview before deciding which class you would like to purchase.
How does the billing work for all the plans?
Classes are purchased by term. For Super Saver subscriptions, you will be charged every 3 months for access to the corresponding terms.
Can I change my subject after purchasing a single subject plan?
Unfortunately, you cannot change your subject after purchasing a single subject plan. Hence, we strongly recommend that you watch the first episode of each class for free before making a decision on the subject you need most.
